The Healthy Hotel Resort
Bet Zera, Sea of Galilee, Israel
Holiday, education and health resort for ageing and handicapped people.
The risk of developing illness increases with age. The loss of family members or friends, retirement, social isolation or poverty threaten health. The goal is to increase the health, wellbeing, quality of life, autonomy and to decrease the need for care.
Tri care santé not only offers help and support at home in Switzerland, but also during holidays. At our resort in Israel we offer our guests a comprehensive variety of activities supporting mobility, fall prevention, healthy eating, education and social integration.
On the 10 000 m2 large area, near the Jordan River, we plan to build a Hospitality-Resort with a reception area, restaurant, fitness center, wellness center, therapeutic spa/bath and multiple workshops and conference rooms.
Located in a big circle around the vast natural park, there will be 50 spacious and modern apartments available for guests.
The wheelchair accessible park consists of a driving range, a chip and put installation, a multi-sports ground and different leisure opportunities.
The workshops consists of courses and seminars on health, music, dancing, singing, golf, fitness, diet and internet/IT.
Excursions to interesting cultural, historical as well as biblical landmarks and locations will be part of the program as well.
The hotel ground and park will be open to electric vehicles only.
The Kibbuz Bet Zera is located close to the Jordan river, just 3 km south of the Sea of Galilee and the well known Yardenit Baptismal Site.
The Sea of Galilee has the lowest altitude of any sweetwater lake on earth. It is one of the most visited locations in Israel, particularly as a result of its importance in the Bible. Christian as well as Jewish tourist groups make sure to visit this biblical place on their tours around Israel.
The Yardenit Baptismal Site attracts half a million tourists per year. Devout Christians see it as one of the most spectacular and emotionally moving places in Israel.
The project will be further developed by the Bet Zera management team, the project architects (“SO Architecture”: Shachar Lulav und Oded Rozenkier) and the deStarts management team (Beat, Fasnacht, president, Dr. Jonathan Roost and Dr. Andreas Walker) in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Economy of Israel.
The complete documentation is available to interested persons and parties.
